IATA Hospitality Management enjoys an eminent and well recognized status in the industry circles. Placement office of the institute keeps in continuous touch with the industry to stay abreast with every employment opportunity and assists students in getting best possible placements. The institute has well established and strong ties with the industry and almost every reputed organization from the hospitality sector comes to the institute for campus interviews. So far passed out students have been able to achieve a record placement of 98%. The office also keeps track of the institute alumni. Many years of dynamic involvement has led to the formation of a vast network of industry professionals. Considerable diversification has taken place in the hospitality industry and our students are being sought by airlines/railway/shipping/hospital catering as well as fast food restaurants of international repute.

Students undergo upto 6 months compulsory Industrial Training after completion of first year in the institute. It is a supplement to the present academic programme and provides an opportunity for students to familiarize with the environment of the hotel industry. The training is evaluated and closely monitored by the institute. Log books are maintained by the students of their training activities and these are scrutinized by the respective heads of department at the institute on completion of the training. They also obtain certificates from the concerned hotels/establishments which add to their profile. During the training they also receive a nominal stipend.
