Blood is life and there is no other substitute for human blood as it can neither be manufactured nor replaced by animal blood. Since blood cannot be stored for long periods of time and there is a continuous demand for it, thus it should be donated regularly. Keeping in mind the noble cause that one’s blood can save a life and make priceless difference in others lives, IATA Hospitality Management, SMU in collaboration with Jeeyar Education Foundation organized a Blood Donation Program at Aarohan Gurukul Theatre of Arts. The event took place on the 9th July,2011 with a huge amount of enthusiastic participation from the students and staff of the College.
